The National Academy of Public Administration invites nominations for the 2009 Herbert Roback Scholarship. One scholarship in the amount of $7,500 will be awarded in 2009. The Academy encourages your department to nominate up to two full-time graduate students for this scholarship. The 2008 nominations represented an outstanding caliber of students, which we hope to see again in 2009.
The Roback Scholarship is awarded to graduate students currently enrolled or admitted for enrollment in a full-time Master’s degree course in public administration, public and international affairs, and/or political science from the following universities: the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, Brandeis University, the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton, John Jay College at CUNY, Albany/SUNY, New York University, and any university in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
The deadline for nominations is May 29, 2009. Click below for more details on the nomination process and the required materials that must be submitted for consideration.
