Forum On Agile Development In The Federal Government
The National Academy of Public Administration is hosting the Forum on Agile Development in the Federal Government from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Friday, October 21 in the Academy’s offices. The goals of the Forum are to (1) highlight opportunities for improved performance and cost reduction in the federal government through the adoption of Agile approaches to IT development projects; (2) identify key challenges to successful adoption of Agile approaches; and (3) discuss policies and practices that can enable success.
Debra Bond, Deputy Controller of OMB, will give the keynote address. The keynote address will be followed by a Panel discussion among leaders from industry and government about efforts to apply Agile development approaches and lessons learned.
