Roybal Endowed Chair for Applied Gerontology and Public Service, California State University Los Angeles; Assistant Secretary for Aging, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Former positions with the State of Hawaii: First Deputy (Chief Operating Officer), Department of Health; Director, Executive Office on Aging. Former positions with the University of Hawaii at Manoa: Assistant Professor, School of Social Work; Director, Health Team Development Program, College of Health Sciences and Social Welfare; Instructor, School of Medicine and School of Social Work.
