Fellows Biographies

Robert J. Shea

Robert is a Principal in Grant Thornton’s Global Public Sector and has been a NAPA fellow since 2006.  Robert was Associate Director at OMB, where he led the Performance Improvement Initiative.  Robert was Counsel to the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs and Legislative Director for Congressman Pete Sessions (TX).  He was a Professional Staff Member with the House Committee on Government Reform.  Robert graduated from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas; and Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut.  Robert lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, Eva, and their three girls, Haley, Hannah, and Mimi.
