Jennifer A. Hughes is a project director and an Academy fellow. She comes to Academy after a long career with the Montgomery County Government, most recently as the Director of the County’s Office of Management and Budget. Previously she was Special Assistant to the County Executive, as well as Senior Legislative Analyst for the County Council. She served on the Montgomery County Board of Investment Trustees and the Universities at Shady Grove Board of Advisors. She is a member of the Leadership Montgomery Class of 1998.
Jennifer started her career as a Presidential Management Intern in the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. She earned her B.A. from Wellesley College and her Masters in City and Regional Planning from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
