Jillian is working on her second degree from the University of Maryland. In May 2019, Jillian received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics, and is currently working on a Master of Public Policy. Jillian expects to receive her Masters in December 2020.
During her undergraduate career, Jillian was selected as a fellow of the Global Fellows Program, which gave her various opportunities to learn from experts specializing in international relations and conflict resolution. As a Global Fellow, Jillian also had the opportunity to intern with the US Census Bureau. While there she worked on a project to record and analyze data from the 2017 Criminal Juvenile Resident Placement Survey. Most recently, Jillian interned with the USCIS where she supported efforts to formulate DHS’ emergency preparedness plans. Jillian is looking forward to interning with the Study teams this summer.
