Shlomit Menashe just entered her junior year at the University of Maryland. She is pursuing a double major in Information Science and Public Policy. On campus, Shlomit is involved with TAMID Group, an international pro-bono consulting business club. This past summer, she was selected to participate on the TAMID Fellowship. As a TAMID Fellow, Shlomit interned with the Israeli startup company, Medivizor, which delivers personalized healthcare information. Spending the summer as a virtual intern, Shlomit feels prepared to continue working in a virtual setting. Shlomit believes that public policy issues must be addressed with analytical and creative thinking. She is looking forward to learning more about the work of the Academy, and is excited to spend the semester interning with the Academy.
