Samuel Yang

Sam is a second-year political science student at Texas A & M University at College Station with career goals of helping improve the US electoral system as well as working to end inequality.  His experience working as a Clerk for the Texas Precinct Election in Houston really fueled these interests.  In this role he had the opportunity to learn how the US democracy functions while working directly with voters answering their questions and providing guidance.

Sam thinks that the Academy’s Grand Challenges initiative aligns perfectly with his interest and is very excited to be working at the Academy.
