The National Academy of Public Administration and Grant Thornton will host the next Grants Management Symposium on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the National Academy of Public Administration (1600 K Street NW, Suite 400, Washington, DC 20006. The entrance is on 16th Street.). A light breakfast and networking will begin at 8:45 a.m.
Please join us for a discussion on grants management strategies from the research community that reduce administrative burden and streamline processes. The discussion will provide attendees from both the research and non-research grants management communities with insight and lessons on how to implement standards for working with the federal government. Speakers will include:
Alexandra Albinak, Associate Vice Provost for Research Administration at Johns Hopkins University. She will present on behalf of the Federal Demonstration Partnership.
Jean Feldman, Head, Policy Office, Division of Institution and Award Support, National Science Foundation.
Following the presentations, there will be ample time for questions, interactive discussion, and networking.
